The Christmas Spirit

Max just loves to give a helping hand unwrapping the presents.
Unfortunately, he'll actually get there before you do,
if you're not paying attention to his every move.

Mischevious Moments

Just love this photo of Max, took it yesterday in the
garden while I was busy doing some gardening chores.
I was quite busy so I wasn't giving him much attention,
so Max started pinching the collected apples that was gathered on the bonfire.
Although I do recycle quite abit of garden waste,
this is the last resort for the excess.
Anyway, Max finally noticed that I had caught him out!
His look was so full of guilt!
Can't be annoyed at him though . . .
He also went on walk about when the back gate was open to the next door neighbours.
I hadn't realised, but he was very please with himself on his return . . .
A good day though . . .

The Beach

nearby beach, Kilve,
Somerset.
Situated on the North coast of Somerset,
with the Quantock Hills close by.

Enjoying Sunday

After the storms from this morning & last night,
 which included a powercut,
I decided to wander around the garden
to see if anything was worthy of a photo. . . .
Max followed as normal,
 but due to prevailing winds,
 which made him very wary,
he was firmly close by. . . .
So much so,
he was utterly determined to get my attention,
 even if it mean't,
coming in between the object I was focused on
 & my camera. . . .

After that event, this is what I caught him doing. . . .
Thankfully now he's sleeping on his own bed.
Enjoy your Sunday!

Memories

Recently looking through some of the photo albums,
 which include Max as a puppy. . . .

Although these photos were courtesy of photobucket,
Max was the spitting image of this pup,
& I even have a similar photo as the one above,
although Max was trying to chew/pull at a beautiful daisy flower head!
If only I had had a digital camera then. . . . .

These photo's were well choosen today,
as I also got to see & cuddle
 a friends chocolate labrador puppy,
 which was only 9 weeks old. . . . .

An Entertaining Time

My Daughter finally back from her holiday,
so Echo, her cat is going home!

It's been very entertaining, & Max has been absolutely great with the cat,
especially as he isn't use to living with one.

I keep expecting to hear Echo's bell as he wanders around,
but it is strangley quiet. . . .

Who's Come to Stay!?!

With my daughter off to Turkey for 2 weeks, we have her cat, Echo, & the pet hamster staying with us.
Remarkably, Max & Echo get on very well, especially as Max is at the older end of the scale while the cat isn't quite 1 year old.
At times, Max appears to be quite protective, unless he's afraid he's missing out. . . . .
